About Camping Company
Camping gear, shipped free across New Zealand on orders over $175.
We started Camping Company for a simple reason. New Zealand has some of the best camping in the world, and the gear to enjoy it should not take a week of research to buy. A tent should say what it weighs and how much rain it keeps out. A sleeping bag should say how cold it goes. A chair should say how much it holds. We list those figures on every product page so you can compare like with like.
What we sell
Tents and shelters for car camping, family holidays and tramping. Sleeping bags, self-inflating mats and packable pillows. Compact stoves, nesting cookware and camping kettles. Rechargeable lanterns and headlamps. Folding chairs and aluminium tables. Tarps, heavy-duty pegs and gazebo walls for when the weather turns. Coolers and portable showers for the longer trips.
Each product page states the packed size, set-up size, weight, materials and the ratings the maker gives it. We do not add claims of our own.
A tight range, chosen carefully
We do not list hundreds of near-identical items. We pick a small number in each category that cover the usual situations: a weekend at a DOC campsite, a summer at the bach, a multi-day tramp, and the family tent that comes out every January. If a figure you need is not on the page, ask us before you order and we will check it.
How we ship
Orders ship with a tracked courier, and delivery is free on orders of $175 or more (a flat $20 applies under $175). Most orders arrive within 5 to 10 working days of dispatch, a little longer to regional areas.

Who is behind Camping Company
Camping Company is part of a family-owned group of online stores. Our CEO, Renoo Caruso, is a Christian preacher based in Phetchaburi, Thailand. Renoo leads a local church with a congregation of more than 200 people and shares daily Bible teaching in Thai through renoo.faith and a YouTube channel with over 1,600 videos.
That faith shapes how we trade. Clear prices, honest product details, and a real person answering your email. We would rather lose a sale than mislead a customer.
